Artist’s Bio
Katie Lime, owner, designer and maker of Moira K. Lime Jewelry works out of her small studio in Chicago’s historic and diverse neighborhood, Logan Square, with her two dog studio mates, Addie and Charger. Katie attended Indiana University and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Metalsmithing and Jewelry Design and her Bachelor of Arts in Art History. Moira K. Lime Jewelry is inspired by the botanical and natural world that so many pass by without notice or appreciation. Katie strives to bring out the loveliness of these small things and draw people to appreciate the natural beauty of the world.
The company has been growing and creating since 2008 when it was founded in Chicago. Two years of retail development and less than a year of wholesale experience has propelled Moira K. Lime Jewelry into storefronts, boutiques and galleries across the United States.
